Digital Skills for citizens

The Department is actively supporting people to get online and enjoy all that the internet has to offer. In a 'connected' society, digital skills are essential if we're going to realise the full social and economic potential of this digital world.

Under the Department's Digital Skills for Citizens Grant Scheme Minister Naughten, T.D. has allocated funding of €2.2m to 12 organisations in 2018 to provide basic digital skills training to people nationwide.

Digital Skills in Forward Steps is not just about getting basic computers skills. Our aim is to give you the confidence to use your knowledge you learn in class and apply it in your life. Our classes are a very friendly environment to learn in. classes are a relaxed setting where everyone is treated as an equal where everyone has a voice.
